IT Performance; does yours need improving?
September 25th, 2015 by Duncan LittleI’ve been helping customers to improve their IT performance for more years than I care to admit and if there is one thing you can bet on, it’s the constant change in technology trends.
We launched the new BrightCloud website last week and of course the new site had some new sections for some new services, like our Office365 Readiness Assessment – but as I was signing it off, it occurred to me that the principals on which we operate have really not changed that much at all. We just found a new way of saying it.
Happy Users Create Better Business
I passionately believe that people deserve to be happy with the way technology helps them work. 10 years ago, your staff were probably happy with their new XP desktop and a Nokia phone – but times have moved on and demands have increased. For IT departments and business leaders, it’s not easy to keep up with this new set of demands.
You know what it’s like. You’re late for a meeting and for some reason you can’t print. You’re in a coffee shop with your iPad and need access to information that you can’t get. Your team want to give great service to your customers, but can’t because the system is “slow” today. You can’t believe how many IT issues your people are putting up with, just because “it’s always been like that.”
Technology is inconsistent and is frustrating for you, it costs too much and you don’t seem to get the answers you need or the speedy help you deserve when you need it most. Does anyone really care?
IT systems can work well, delivering great application performance and helping organisations to improve services or reduce costs – but the supplier you choose needs to care about your business and to help you improve how your people feel about their systems.
We believe that there is a better way to deliver IT, by building a partnership with your organisation where our culture of caring and dependability matches your need for best practice IT services. We’ll take the time to learn what is important to you and your people. In the end the only thing that matters is that users are happy that IT delivers on its promise to improve your organisation.
We are BrightCloud, a team of visionaries who really care about happy users. We are confident that if you get your users happy with IT, then you will enable better business, because people will be more productive. By making your users Happy, we can help you do Better Business – ask me again in 10 years and I’ll say the same thing.
